newly lowered

i recently got my car lowered with H&R lowering springs. i really like the cars stance now. I have gotten nothing compliments with the look. I also fit it with 255's in the rear, with no rubbing issues. As for handling, it has improved slightly (already handled well) and the only thing that i have to get used to is be more aware of speed bumps and pot holes, but other than that, smooth sailing.

thanks guys, as for the shocks i don't know, perhaps in the near future i will replace the shocks with bilstein's. But in all honesty i don't know too much about that setup, the brands, pros or cons.

Look sweet!
Just curious, did you happen to go a step wider with the front tires as well?

The mb tein kits are geared towards lowering with a very soft ride. These set-ups are not made for performance driving and I bet the car has more body roll once you intall the teins.

There is no performance line for Tein on the W203. They need to make some pillow mount dual spring coilovers for the car and THEN they will have a real performance part but they just make look good parts right now.

Looks vs. Performance

Looks real nice. I want to take my car down but I really dont want to loose my ride or have to worry about bumps in the road like with older cars. I wish I could just take the fround end down 2 inches.

Did you consider re-aligning the suspension?

Lowering the car can change suspension geometry... Odd tire wear & less than optimum handling could result.

The Brabus Springs on my C55 lowered the car enough to require a new alignment (done by previous owner, so i don't have specs) ... but the B springs make it look like the tires are in the wheel well... can't tell if you have a similar drop from the photo.

PS. what do you think of your under-drive pulleys? green filter? resonator delete?
