installing springs...question
hey guys, i'm gettin my set of H&R springs installed this week...my question is i'm gettin the springs installed without any spring pads, will the rear be uneven still? how does the car look like? does anyone have pics of their car with springs + stock suspension installed with or without any spring pads, thanx...

In case you're not aware, your car already has spring pads (most likely #2) on the rear, so just have the shop install the springs and re-use the original pads. With the #2 pads and H&R springs, your car will likely sit a bit lower in the rear. People usually use the #4 (thickest) pads in the rear to make the drop perfectly even all around. My advice?...get coilovers and dial in your drop just perfect.

Do the front springs on the C32 sit on "pads" and if so, is there a chance to lower it by using a thinner pad?

Hi, just got my c32 last month and had just found out about mbworld. You guys are great and I already got some great ideas. Just lowered my car this week with h and r springs, used my stock suspensions and spring pads...and yeah, my rear sits a lot lower than the front. I wish I've read about this thread before I did it. Where can I get the #3 or #4 spring pads that you said? (That's my really really newbie or maybe dumb question, by the way...sorry). Thanks.
