what happended?

you are moving on up?

Its a good price for the amount of upgrades you have. You are just missing the ECU just like me.

Check the miles. 96,000 miles makes it the equivalent of a 6-1/2 year old car. A fair price, but not a steal. (And upgrades rarely increase a car's price unless they are from the manufacturer, or a full upgrade package from a respected tuner like Kleeman).

Price seems very fair to me.. If I was in the market I would seriously consider because of the upgrades you have..

It sucks so much is put into the miles of the car.. I also have 96k miles and the car is just broken in and the kinks worked out!! I bet my car is in better condition than many cars with half the mileage..

Good luck..

OK, since everyone is asking...here is the scoop on why i am selling my car.

i am selling the car for 3 reasons:

1. i need something bigger, so i am buying my dad's diesel suburban because i can pay cash for it and it still gets 20mpg...

2. i need to free up some money to fix my evo8, i blew-up the motor and ecu, it is going to be expensive...don't ask how i did it, i still am not sure how it happened, the shop is looking at it.

3. i am contemplating getting an E55 or something with the words Renntech and twin-turbo....

I generally believe the same thing -- that a good car is made to go 200,000 miles or more. But when you think about it, current trends (short-term leasing and constant trades) actually give car makers little incentive to build cars for the long haul.

A 10 year old German car may be cheap and it may have lots of miles left in it, but the repair costs are going to be insane in relation to the purchase price. Good example is the Audi A6 I just sold. It was a 2000, twin turbo with 60,000 miles on it. Looked like new, ran well, but had a suspect transmission. Market value was $15-18,000. Remanufactured transmission is $6,000 installed. Nobody could actually repair the transmission or electronics, so everything that broke had to be replaced. At some point, a very good car is really worth nothing.

Bigger car..

same here.. i'm working on a deal for an E55 2003. If the numbers are right, i'll pull the trigger. Waiting on my bank for the final numbers.

I may keep the C32 for a few months until I take care of some minor details... then it goes for sale.

I need to replace the I/C pump , broken fog light/ and take some curb rashes out of 2 wheels.

I think you are selling because 1. You are about to hit 100k and when it does it takes a HUGE hit. and then 2 3 4 to what ever else you said.....

car is clean, but i doubt u are gonna get 25k for it. try a firm 19,980

What mods does your Evo have? How do the cars compare in performance?

I think you are not me, and don't know my situation, so instead of trying to speculate about why i am selling, you should keep your opinion to yourself...

evo had every bolt-on and ran a best of 12.5 @ 109 on race gas, best of a 12.9 @ 106 on pump...it is fast, but not very reliable, i am not the first person to have some major problems with these cars...

We all have priorities. He has a 14 months old reason to get a bigger car. I went and checked it out a couple of days ago and it looks amazing. Next to my stock one I thought... man! I gotta do something with mine. Erick He knows his stuff. Good luck with the sale and remember the bixenons offer is still open.
