For Sale: '05 C55

I'm sad to say I'm selling my C55. I picked up an '05 E55 yesterday but I'm tempted to keep both!

I will be selling it for $39K on this site but will most likely raise the price on cars.com so wanted to give the members first crack at it if anyone is interested.

Here are the specs...

- 2005
- 33K miles
- Brilliant Silver Exterior / Black Charcoal Interior
- DVD Navigation COMAND
- Lighting Package
- Premium Sound Package (Includes 6-disc CD Changer)
- Rain Sensor Package
- Power Rear-Window Sunshade
- Excellent Condition! No Kids, Non-Smoker, Garaged!

...send me a private message if you're interested and I'll email you pics of the car.

Thanks,
Nick

Have you dyno'd the C55 yet? Maybe if it got some good numbers it might sell quicker.

Not a bad idea! Especially since I really feel this C55 is STRONG! So lets take some bids! How many more would be interested at this price if she dynos well above 300rwhp!?

I KNOW one thing! NO stinkin' 335i is gonna take my C55! I can't believe I already read a kill in a bimmer forum that some guy in his NEW (not even broken in yet) 335i claims a C55 kill.

If you get like 310rwhp and 320rwtq I'm sure it will be gone pretty quick.

Hold on Hold on Hold on- Im in the market for a C55 new- you mean to tell me the HP can fluctuate a noticeable amount from car to car stock?! I thought the flux would be like 1 or 2 HP. What do I need to do- take each one on the lot to a dyno?! lol. seriously any advice so that I can get a "gooder" one?

Being that the AMG motors are hand-built actual HP numbers can fluctuate a lot more than 1-2hp.

These cars are built to such exacting specifications that you will not notice a significant discrepancy between differrent cars. I would very highly doubt that the difference would be any more than 1 horsepower. From a drivers perspective, you will not notice any difference between C55s unless there is something technically wrong with one of the cars.

I've heard C55's tend to range between 290rwhp and 310rwhp. Of course this could also be a issue of how many miles the car has on it, because a C55 with 20K miles will likely put out more power then one with only 2K miles.

E55's have a even bigger gap then we do I've seen them range between 390rwhp and 430rwhp stock.

Back on track, good luck with the sale. I only wish these cars held up their values alot better. You can't even touch an 05 M3 with low miles for under 46k.

I actually took delivery on 09/17/04 so it's just over 2 years old now and majority of miles are highway.

Thanks,

Man by the time you do sell it you would have lost 5k in monthly payments plus an additional 5k in sorry *** Benz value. When next year rolls around it's going to be worth like 35k. That will be 10k loss in your pocket. I hope things work out for you and you unload this thing. I guess the benz quality must have something to do with it.
