C32 AMG
I have a C32, but should be an equal compairison regardless. $339.40 out the door for full service B in Mobile, AL. It was an hour drive but well worth it!
Gulfport advertises service B for $450.

Enterprise rent-a-car!!!
beware, Mb dealer techs, dont do anything different on a "B" service than on an "A" service, maybe a dust filter, or wiper blades, but no tire rotation(staggered wheels) dealer cost on a "B" service is about $150
I know what the maint manual says, but it dont get done??
Buyer beware, shop around.
I do them for between $280-$350, (depending on engine)and my cost is more than the dealers.

Be careful....
$381 in Maryland - but they did not get as much done as I expected. I called a few places and asked what "Service B" was and cost. Most places told me flushing brake fluid & wiper blades were included and not a choice (and I assumed so when I went with a lower quote from another dealer for "Service B").
Receipt has the following:
001100 Service Scope "B" 242 CPM
Only parts listed for that line item were
MOBIL1
DUST FILT
OIL FILT
RING
WWS SOLV
MOA TREAT
CF5 CARBON
I thought they at least replaced the wiper blades no matter, but I called and they said that was optional (mine were not replaced). I'd think for $381 I could at least get those too!
If 001100 Service Scope "B" 242 CPM was supposed to include wiper blades & a brake flush - someone please let me know! Thanks!

I am sick of my local dealer.. they are such scammers.. MB of San Diego quoted me almost $500 bucks 5 minutes away.. the other dealer MB of Escondido about 40 minutes away quoted $325. I went to Escondido and was in and out.. free loaner for $325..

So it looks like they are just changing the oil and filter, plus the dust filter which may or may not need changing. $65 in parts without the dust filter plus 30 minutes of labor. Glad I do these myself.

Sounds kind of scammy to me - the services you consider "standard service" being all over the place on price and what they do. If you call around and try to find out prices and what "B" is - you do kind of get the feeling it is smoke and mirrors and just some excuse to collect money from a loyal customer.
I think future ones I'll do myself if I still have the car - my only real concern was getting the maintenance record created because I plan to sell before the warranty is up and the next B is due (and I'd expect a MB buyer to check service records).
Definitely a negative part of the MB experience. Otherwise, most things are good.
