2005 C55 prices

Just wondering how much my car is worth on the real market...

2005 with 16k miles. All options except bird's eye maple trim. blk/blk.

Thinking about selling it....

Realistic about 42k if your lucky.

Oh and don't think to long, every month that goes by your paying 500 to 800 a month, think about that and on top of that your car is also depreciating too.

I just bought mine used for 42k with alot more miles but I had a trade in and didn't want the hassel of trying to sell my old car.

Man these benz cars are a joke when it comes to trying to resell them. A used 05 SL55 going for 65k to 90k when new it was 120k to 130k.

Us C cars don't take that big of a loss though.

This brings up a question I have been wondering about. I am looking to buy an 05 C55 because they appear to be pretty good value at todays prices. I am curious what will happen to the value over the next few years for a low mile C55. Opinions?
Thanks

I'm not sure what the value is going to be but it will be a bargain. Mercedes are always a bargain used. I'm not sure why but they are so cheap after being taken from the lot. New they are so damn expensive.

I've been watching them on ebay closely. They have been selling for 38-39K$ (under 20k miles) for 2005s and 2006s are selling mid 40s. Ebay tends to be expensive compared to what autotrader can do ... sometimes. You can also get the Merc. DvD/Stereo/GPS for $500 on ebay new which is nice

At the start of the year they were selling for 44-46$ on ebay
By the end of the year my guess is mid to high 30s will be the average ALL under 20K miles. Wait until Jan/April and even less

You can also get a nice 50k mile 2000-2001 996 c2/c4 for like 25-32K$ on ebay - talk about resale value!

The depreciation is pretty bad...the m3 I had after 7 years of ownership (54k miles) was sold for 22500 and the car was about 47000 out the door new.

M3's hold their value, I couldn't find an 05 M3 for less then 47k at the time so I went with the C55.
