C55 spoiler removal help
I have the C55 spoiler on my C32. I have a gap on one side and wanted to remove and reinstall. Any tips to get a clean removal? Also, anyone think I shouldn't attempt? Cause I fear its going to be impossible to get all the old tape off.

From what I've seen from other threads such as yours it seems like the trick is to use dental floss underneath the double-sided tape.

you can get it off if you are really patient and use lost of adhesive remover, i know 3M makes a good product, but i don't remember what it is off the top of my head...

Somebody makes a really good citrus based remover. Can't remember if it was 3M or not.

Thanks everyone. Is that gonna get the residue of the tape off the spoiler so I can reapply new tape? Thanks again for the help.

Forget the bubble gum and Floss, use a Heat Gun! Heat guns are 3M tapes worse enemy, trust me, I have removed lot's of 3M car parts with a heat gun, including a C55 spolier off onf my C32. Just becareful not to stay in one spot to long or you could cause paint damage. A hair dryer and some patience may work as well.

Start on one of the corners, then as you heat up the edge pull up, then slowly work your way to the other side.
