Laser Jammer

I just got a Blinder M-20 laser jammer for my C55. I used to have it on my C43 and was very impressed on how well the device worked, not to mention it saved me a hell of alot of money in speeding tickets...

I going to have it installed in the next week or two and will keep you posted on the results. BTW, I bought it new from a seller on ebay for $280, normally they sell for at least $350. Anyways, if anyone is interested in one of these, he told me that he has a couple left. PM me and I will send you his e-mail address.

I guess the only way to find out if it works is to speed past a cop and see if he gets you?

Trust me, I did that many times in my C43. The Blinder definitely works. Blinder is considered the best jammer out there, because it is able to jam every type of laser in used by the law enforcement. The Escort unit is good as well, but is not nearly as good as the Blinder. I can tell you from my prevoius experience, I would not put any other jammer on my car but the Blinder.

Just laser. Radar jammers are highly illegal and can result in fines of $5000-$10000. But that's what radar detectors are for.

There is no such thing as a working radar jammer, only laser

jgsx, you're wrong. The following company makes radar jammers that are known to work very well:

They don't work. There are cash prizes out for anyone that demonstrates a Ka jammer that works. The products on the link you sent are a scam

Lasers don't work on black or dark colored cars because the beam
can't reflect off it, unless there is any kind of reflection from license
plate or headlights.

I hear laser are also very finicky to use by law enforcement...but more
accurate if you get caught...

Lasers still work on dark cars, just not as well. Cops are trained to point at the front plate (which is pretty much a mirror). If you don't have a front plate, they aim for your headlight, which is highly reflective.

Yup. There are a lot of conditions where they don't work well, that's why they use Ka band instead so much. Laser is also more work for the operator since they actually have to aim the thing at each car individually.

Laser can only target one car one at a time. You might have been hit by InstantOn Ka radar

Be careful what you buy.

"Beware that our unit does not protect against Laser guns (lidar) or the superwide Ka band guns."

Agreed. There have been many independent tests on these things. Jammers and especially the Rocky Mountain crap are all just a big scam. Stick with a good detector (like the V1) and go from there.

I just took my Blinder M20 laser jammer out of my closet and hooked it up to my 12V source....

I have a Newcon Optik Laser Rangefinder W/ Speed detection (Basically a Laser gun) it uses laser to detect range and detect speeds of moving objects.

I decided to do some tests, I placed the jammer from a far enough place that my laser could detect the range.

I switched the laser jammer off, I aimed my device and I got a reading of the distance (range)

then
I switched on the laser jammer, I aimed my device and the laser jammer went "beeeeeeeeep!" i suppose it was jamming my laser....but i still could get a distance reading!

uh oh...does anyone know whats wrong? does blinder really work!? I've had it for 2 years and still couldnt really figure it out

Check these out - hardwired detector + jammer(shifter) units with external sensors and custom mounting options plus voice. I don't own one currently.

Funny how they call it "Laser Shifting".
