Engine, notice K40 in grill. the Passport SR1 would not fit. There is not much room here.

Intercooler with K40 blocking part. I need to relocate somehow. I don't like this! Of course, I don't like tickets more and I won't use a windshield mount due to theft concerns.

Interior shot, notice K40 on tunnel. I wish that damn Passport fit! The module is .55 of an inch and fit perfectly on the ledge in front of speedometer. No obstructions! There is a new Passport SR7 coming in 4 to 6 weeks. It will fit. I may upgrade and give the K40 to my wife. The problem with the passport SR1 is fitting the sensor behind the grill, the readout was awesome! Too bad.

Thumbs up Congrats!

Congratulations on the new car! It looks great!

Do you have any pictures from a further back distance of the front? I would love to see some, so that we/I can see how the Bi-Xenons look on the silver sedan.

Again, great looking car!

Thanks,

Tim

Did you consider fitting here?

Its not the same unit as yours, but if it fits and you don't smoke its a great place, hides away too -

BTW, Congratulations, enjoy your car!

jazbrokr, congratulations!

UKC32, what is that thing in the compartment below your A/C unit? Looks like an MP3 player or something?

The problem with the remote radar is in the grill and not in the interior! The passport radar sensor is 6 inches deep and will not fit! It has to mount that way because of the laser pickup.

It's a GPS device that warns of all the fixed speed traps in the UK. Increasingly, they function without radar/laser. Check it out at http://www.originbluei.com/

I also have a Bel remote radar/laser detector fitted above the mirror to help avoid manned speed traps.

Sorry jazbrokr, thought the unit inside the car might fit there! On the Bel the laser detector seems way smaller, it will fit inside the windscreen, eg behind the mirror

I beleive that is the voice control activation lever. Just pull it once to turn on voice control.

Lightbulb It's the steeling wheel adjuster

Not like 2002 which is on the door with the seat adjuster, 2003 has moved to below the turn signle. The voice active control still on the right upper corner behine the steeling wheel.

It's on the right side in my S600 also... the C32 AMG that I test drove a few months ago was bone stock, so it did not have voice control.

i notice you don't have the black Mercedes-Benz wheel center cap. Did you have the dealer changed it or they don't come with the car anymore?

nice pictures btw.
