HAHAHAHA WHAT???? the s4 is a good comparison to a clk 430 . Those things are dogs.My buddy has one we race like everyday yea..........lol its funny

If you mean "drag race" then you have a point. But then you're missing the bigger point. On a road course, where you use the engine, transmission, suspension and brakes, the S4 (particularly the V8 S4) is very comparable to the C55 and C32. I've run my C32 at Audi Club events, and on equivalent tires, I'm only slightly quicker, and that's the result of carrying a few hundred pounds less weight. C55 should be a bit better than that. Of course, if the track is wet, it's a whole different story!

RS4 is not even very quick off the line -- too much weight and drivetrain, which only means that it sucks as a drag racer. But on an open track, it's a MONSTER. C63 might give it a run, assuming AMG makes it handle right.

If I wanted to drag race, I'd buy a 20 year old Camaro and pump in a bunch of nitrous. Whooopee.

I agree with you, this whole "drag race" thing is so stupid in my opinion. In Europe nobody pays attention to quarter mile performance. Track times, slalom performance, 0-60, etc. is much more relevant. Any car can be made to go fast on the 1/4 mile, it's the overall track performance that is more important to me.
