Does anyone know if the Intercooler Pump on the S55 is the same as the one on the C32/E55? Are they interchangeable?

I read that you can replace it with the pump off a Ford Lightning which can be found on Ebay for less than $100.

I did not think the S55 was supercharged? But yes, the pump on e-bay for $60 is the same as the stock one on a C32 or E55.

Yes, the 2003 and newer are Supercharged, 493 HP engines, just like the CL, and SL.

Actually the Lightning pump needs a few minor tweaks to use on a C32. The new
Cobra though is suppose to be an exact fit. I hear you can pick it up at any dealer for about 60.00 retail.

not the cobra pump, but supposedly the pump from the new GT500...

quick correction i/c pump at Ford dealer exactly $394.99 in chicago i called them on 12/27/06 myself at www.buyfordracing.com only $95.00 with shipping

The Bosch pump used on C32 is the same externally as all 55 Kompressors, all Ford SC cars, including Range Rover and new Shelby.

55s use slightly higher rated pump, about 10% more flow, but it has the same dimensions.

There is a connector difference between the makes, but it can be easily fixed by cutting and splicing.

I can't find it anywhere.
