Crossfire SRT-6
why would that be impossible? those gains are even less than I would expect.. It is eaither that or the claimed HP by mercedes is off... I would expect those gains just doing the SL55 intake, but the N/A crossfire gains are very noticeable

C32 AMG
Now that I just posted that I notice we have 2 very different gains listed for the C32 AMG One says....
...and later you state over 20hp and 30tq? Did you list one set of numbers to the wheel (in which case the base of 349 is way off) and the other flywheel? Now I'm confused...

To the wheel most seem to be in the 270ish hp range at the wheel. Some considerably less, some close to 290hp.
Another dyno with mods listed. https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...light=c32+dyno

Oh, if those are at the flywheel, then yeah they make sense. I just assumed that they were at the wheels. I know it says flywheel on there, but there was just a discussion about another similar sheet, and it was agreed that it was rwhp even thought it said fly

Crossfire SRT-6
The difference is that the dyno is representing RWHP by correction factor (AMG Jerry's & FrankW's dyno charts, etc right?). JLevi's advertised gains are flywheel HP - very conservatively underrated - which is a pleasant surprise!

Back with more information, the Crossfire posted above was retuned with pullies. Here is the result and more info:
Stock
321.7 lb TQ
327.5 HP
w/ SI Stage I (SL55 Intake Splitter, ECU, Pulleys, Tuning)
364.0 lb TQ
355.3 HP
Final #s --> converted to FWHP/TQ @ 15%
364.0 lb TQ --> 418.6 lb TQ
355.3 WHP --> 408.6 HP
Enjoy!

Damn! I'm guessing that with the same mods the C32 would put out even more, correct? I hope... Might have to think twice when lineing up with a crossfire now.

I think it was Renntech that had a "how to" listed on their site, but I can't find it now. Its very easy to do though. Here is a link to pics and description. Pretty basic for all Mercs.

Less than you would expect eh? The crossfire is 330HP/310Trq stock and if that dyno is setup the same as the Dynapak that I use, this means that they have gotten almost 70HP out of tune / sl55 intake. I don't see that happening.

The Dyno I use represents whp, not flywheel. I have proven this by doing a dyno on a Dynojet and coming up with almost the same numbers.
I don't see modded C32's being owned by this car.

I agree...if this is flywheel power, then these numbers make sense. I would like to see a Dynojet graph with this SRT-6 to see the difference.

I believe this dyno is the same dyno the unfortunate AMGSC dyno'd on as well, and the WHP he got from this dynapack nearly matched the WHP he obtained on dynojets and other dynos too. I too believe the dynapack and dynojet don't differ in final power readings substantially.

So is this ECU tune specific for your mods ....... eg I will have an ASP pulley, headers, sl55 intake and run on 98 Octane only ....... would you be able to give me a specific tune for my car, without it visiting your dyno.

The picture clearly shows FLYWHEEL Horsepower at the top of the screen. Which means some kind of correction has already been applied to the displayed numbers.
This is why I do nto trust DYNAPACK, it allows the operator too much freedom in playing with final numbers.
Agreed.
