Yes, it can be done. You can go with just tips or completely convert it to Euro-spec quad exhaust system.

ah I was wondering what the deal was. Hey since you know about euro conversion stuff or what not... Can I swap in that climate control unit for the one in my c55 with the knobs so I don't have anymore FING knobs and digital???? I REALLY want to do this!!! Thanks!

The convertible only has dual exhaust for reasons of the soft top.

The decal can be bought on E-Bay.

I saw one at the dealership awhile back with the quad exhaust......way cool. The trim is different??

The previous owner probably just acquired the little "Special Edition" badge and the hood badge and is passing it off as such?

In fact i believe there's quad exhaust CLK55 in one year.. not sure if its 04 or 05. I'v seen one of these sitting in dealer brand new when i was shopping for my C55.

Where have you guys been? That car is 100% stock. The 2005 CLK55 COUPE ONLY came with the quad exhaust from the factory. The Cabrio does not. It is not a special edition car, that is just a badge stuck on. If i remember correctly, that was Mark Newtons car, a forum member here.

Probably is an ebay thinger.

Otherwise it's stock. MY05 came with updated int. which included better (I think real?) aluminum and the new center console. Also the coupes came with a quad exhaust.
