New tires for the car
Have been seeing these in the magazines for the longest time....thought I'd be the guinea pig.
I already have one person at the driving range asking me if these are some prototype tires.
I can't stop staring at the tread design...

I like the way those tires look and even better, cheaper than PS2s. Since my rear treads are pretty much gone..... called up Discount Tire, have a set coming.

european car mag had a one page review on them this month (whatever month i just got in the mail) fitted on a e46 m3. they loved it.
i will try to stay away from assymetric directional tires for my next set tho. this way i can rotate side to side to even out shoulder wear. can't do that with invos or ps2s.

the invos are assymetrial non directional so you can rotate them from side to side.....but the shoulder will always be the shoulder. You can rotate them to make sure they keep the quietness as the tire wears down.
What u're thinking about is a symetrical non directional like the michelin mxx3's =)

OE 18"
225/40 and 255/35
Car survived the big downpour last week in socal with stride. I had to drive back from SD back to LA in a hurry. Had no problems going 80mph (maybe I shouldn't have...) but so far very impressed.

sidewall profile is pretty rounded yes.
I wouldn't go lower than the recommended pressure on the placard. The amount of load a tire carry depends on how much air is in the tire so there must've been a reason mb recommended a certain pressure.
I don't like the understeer in the car so I am running 37psi front and rear now =)
