PSS9 need swaybars upgrade ?

I have some PSS9s in transit at the moment .... can anyone comment on the need for a swaybar upgrade to go along with the PSS9.......

The coilovers will be run on the softer side of the setting to keep my wife happy with ride quality ...... would I need to upgraded the rear sway bar, or both, or will it not make much difference with the PSS9s doing the job to get rid of most of the body roll ?

I wouldn't change the swaybars on these cars, especially once you have a proper coil-over setup.

sways are a great uprades H&R or Eibach its up too you.. after you install your coilovers take it for a test drive and see how the car handles then you will be able too tell if you still need sway bars or not.

I have the H&R rear only swaybar from Evosport. It's noticeable primarily in hard cornering-not casual driving

I have both and have run the PSS9's alone before upgrading to bars. The ride is very stiff on the softest setting for the shocks. The car has very little body roll with the coilovers, however, the car is faster at the track with bar upgrades. I have the H&R's. You can't tell the bars are on the car for street driving unless you go up a driveway at an angle and you may find yourself stuck as the wheel spins for awile!

Thanks for the input guys ... I will wait until they are installed and see how I like them.

Althought I was under the impression that on the soft settings, the PSS9s were not to far away from factory harshness in ride quality.

PSS9 and CarlssonRS coilovers are at least double the harshness of the stock suspension in addition to being more bouncy. I would suggest setting the suspension stiffer in the front than the rear to balance the feel for the road. The rear is the more sensitive to adjustments and softer is preferred for the street. You can set the front soft or firm and it doesn't really make much difference for the street. Hope you like them.
