Sprintbooster specifically for AMGs .....

"if you have done the pulleys, then you will need the slower version. As
tune-up mods altered the torque too much on the C32, the ECU can detect
irregular torque behavior in compare to the throttle angle, hence the engine light will comes out.
We have a BDD451A2 version which is more suitable for you."
Anyone heard of this ?

check your plug wires, ic pump,
my car was acting bad for 3 months and it turned out to be 1 bad wire from those cheap magnacor.
plugs are okay, but keep stock wires people.
The problem seems to happen on heavily modded C32s with sprintboosters, especially in cold weather. I know of a handful of people that have the issue. It really is the booster that pushes it into limp. I first thought it was the plugs/wires too, but it isn't. Put the booster on = limp mode, remove it = no limp.
interesting...what other conditions does it take to throw it into limp mode?
I've thought about buying one but had the same concern with my setup. My S/C setup uses a positive discplacement blower so I get max PSI thrown right out of idle. Tipping the pedal just a bit will make the car jump at times so I'm thinking the sprint booster may have me looking like a first timer with a standard transmision. I wish I could just try one.
Has anyone else been experiencing problems?
I bet in climates where it doesn't snow or the ground doesn't freeze, you won't have any issues.
Next time it's raining, go to a parking lot and spin your tires a few times (with ESP on) to see if you can get the car to go into limp mode.

thanks for the info...

You wouldn't lose ESP either. It would always work, the light would just stay on until you shut the car off and restarted it.
"Limp Mode" to me was a continious ESP light.

So does this mean that if I have an E63 n/a motor I should order the BDD451A version and not the A2? I am a bit worried as I just ordered the A2 version as it was advertised as the "AMG Automatic" version.
Automatic Transmission i just order mine !!! AMG auto
is this the right one
