Thanks for updating the thread. I'm doing this today...well hopefully today 
Is there a trick to getting the belt off the S/C pulley? How can I relieve stress on the belt to get it off? Any tricks to get it all back on. Seems like the tension pulley on that black bracket is going to be the hardest part?

Thats exactly what you need to do. Its a piece of cake. You rotate the tensioner bolt counterclockwise as I remember, and the belt loosens up. You just slip the belt off while you are rotating it. I took off the upper idler next to it just to clean it up while I was at it.

I just fixed the s/c bearing on my AMG - easy and fun repair, my first time using a press. On that note - I now have a 12-ton press

Glad it worked out well for you. Its nice to have the press for other jobs, Sure you don't use it all the time, but it will come in handy. My next job involving the press I bought for this job is my control arm bushings Starting it tomorrow. I will take pictures as well I tried downloading the video, but it only gives me 304bytes every time..?

wow if I knew I would not have spent over 3K, well extened warranty covered most of it but still I spilled close to over 1K. But this only works if the SC clutch is bad and not the bearings inside the SC correct?

update for people that may be looking to replace their clutch bearings.
Last bearing lasted about 6 months. I ordered two from Houston Bearing this time. If this last bearing was any indication of how long the bearing from this company will last be prepared to spent about $17 plus labor every 6 month. Not bad, but just an hassle.
If anyone has found alternative other than the Houston Bearing. Be sure to let us know.

yup, mine has gone now after about 7 months after replacing it from the Houston bearing replacement...cheap fix when you consider the MB alternative...

Hey all,
Recently broke away from the dealership and began getting my car worked on by a former benz tech and it is working out well.
Wanted some advice regarding the Clutch Bearing - my car has been making a bit of abnormal noise for a bit and the dealer told me it was the idler pulley. My guy did a diagnosis on it and is confident it is the bearing.
Unfortunately it appears this Clutch Bearing only comes within a kit of additional parts which are still good on the car and it costs about $950. Thankfully it is not a labor intensive job so it won't jump more than that.
Not a huge hit, but just did full brakes, rubber, light controller unit, and tune up - so I am sure you all know how fiscally 'fun' just a brake job can be on this beast!
Anyone know of a way I can get just the bearing and save a bit? Or better yet, is there an after market part which may provide better boost and increased horsepower from the supercharger system?
Please keep in mind I am not mechanically savvy so links to parts... etc. will be helpful!

Well, it looks like the Houston Bearing site is down (might just be the 1/1 renewal blues), and I'm encountering the dreaded supercharger clutch bearing failure. Although I've read that normally this quiets down when the S/C engages, here in the cold MN afternoons it sounds like a puppy being kicked when the supercharger engages at low RPMs. It's too cold to wrench around here, so I'm taking it to the local indie tomorrow AM to confirm.
To get to the point, it looks like 32BG05S1-2DST is the Nachi substitute for the DAC32550023, which is again a substitute for the OEM NSK 32BD45. I was able to find it at bearingsdirect.com, and wanted to share the wealth. If nothing else, seems to be another source. Once I verify tomorrow I'll let you know how ordering / installation / lifespan goes.
