....if it's not too much trouble I am in the market for these upgrades and would like to know some information from you, fellow members on your experiences with them.

1) Who were they puchased from?

2) How long was the wait in receiving the ECU?

3) How much did the total package cost?

4) What were your results with them in terms of satisfaction? Were your results as expected? Explain.

5) Any recommendations as far as usage, maintenance post modification?

Anything you'd like to add would be very much appreciated. I really want this kit but I need your reassurance to be 100% confident before I go through with it. Anyone with knowledge of friends who've made this modification is welcome to post.

Thanks again for everything.

You will not be dissapointed with the results.

Are you taking your car to a dealership for the install? If so, I would bet that you would be in a loaner for 3-4 days.

While you are getting the work done, I would advise you to change the idler pulley at the same time. I would also get the coolant system flushed and oil changed as well.

Is your car 100% stock?

100% stock. I think there is only 1 stealership around my city that is Renntech authorized. How much would you guestimate the total would be to have all that done?

I think my bill was $530, but I also had them change the oil and they changed a seal that was leaking.

My dealership charges $129 per hour.

If you change the idler pulley now while the belt is off, they shouldn't charge you extra. I think the part is $50 or so.

I would prepare the paperwork ahead of time so you don't get charged for that too. You can download the form from Renntech's website. If you have a Fedex account, I would create your own shipping labels as well. They will charge you for that too.

Hey I remember! Would've been funny as hell if I did what was
needed remember?

I'm gonna go back to Moroso on a Wednesday within a month or
so, gotta let the ECU adapt all the mods so I can run it
optimal. You think a AMG meet at Moroso?

Sorry not to sound cheap but $250 to gather around?

Last time I went was in Wensday before Thanksgiving 2006 and
it was pretty good, there was 5-6 E55 W211, 1 C32, and a C230
for $15 each and I got three runs.

For me its not so much importance from a monetary stand point it's more for the company than anything else. I just want to have a good time and talk about cars. . If you guys want to meet up elsewhere post it up!

P.S. Racing Test and Tune went up to $20.

Lets just say I'm not the most patient person mechanically. I'd get frustrated and break something. And I don't even have the time!
