Front suspension squeak on '04

ok this is my second post and yes i searched about the suspension squeak on '02s but none on '04s

so my '04 front suspension squeak when i hit bumps and dips at low speed... ive read that most of you had the dealer change endlinks and bushings. is this covered under warranty? also another question is, is this the only cause of the squeak, any other causes? i will take the car to the dealer sometime this week to check alingment coz my steering wheel is a little off to the left and pulling to the right a little bit... i am just really **** when it comes to alignment... so i can have them fix the squeak too.

if you guys that had the same problem with the squeaking suspension i have, let me know your feedback, i'd appreciate it

TIA

Yes, it's probably your bushings.. this problem is not only with the 2002's. It will be covered under warranty unless you have aftermarket suspension mods.. then you may have a problem. I have a brabus suspension but they still covered mine. They also replaced the arms for me..

I also have an "04 with a similar issue....

I would say though that it is more of a "knocking" than a squeek if its the same thing. Anyway dropped my car off at the dealer this morning for a service and i reported that issue with them and the response straight away was "must be the bushings" anyway they gonna check it out only get the car back tomorrow though... bleak i miss her already~! Lol

Hmm.. I don't see how changing your tranny settings would have anything to do with the suspension..

TIA,

The dealer considers this normal wear and tear. I have tried.
I took my car to Topline Automobile in Burlingame and they fixed it.
Their number 650-340-9888 ask for Joey. tell them I sent you and they will give you a discount.

Good Luck,

No way.. if you are still covered under your warranty this is definitely covered!! Print out the TSB and take it to the dealer. As long as your suspension isn't modified there shouldn't be any problems. If they say no, contact MBUSA cause that is BS.

They are all listed on the forum. Just do a search on c32 tsb's and suspension.

Here is a good start..

Well got my car back yesterday, after service and reporting the front suspension problem, they diagnosed the bushes to be the problem , and when they checked the car out they did find them worn and replaced...

Drove to work this morning and no issues at all feels brand new again no noises...

Good luck with your one.
