ok.. so I did this, and I got to the screen, turned dyno mode on.. and started the engine. All excited to drive it I got out onto the highway,I thought it sure feels "different" and as I mashed the loud pedal..... NOTHING happened! its like it was in 3rd gear or something. NO POWER AT ALL..... so I tried again, same thing. Needless to say I stopped, put it back in normal mode, and all is good again.

Any thoughts to this?????

Read this entire thread. Another member posted about the same symptoms and the solution he found.

Turns out he WAS in third gear BTW...

Can you give me more info on this? I have had my car in the MB dealership 4 times for this(ITS UNBELIEVABLY BAD) and they tell me the car shifts normal...(BS) Id like to be able to take something in to them stating there "may" be a problem here...

Dyno Mode worries me with a tranny that isnt right anyway..

I suggest you search this forum for the "transmission jerk". You should find many articulate answers about our wonderful trannies. The jerk and dyno mode should be completely separate issues though. The most serious jerk is caused by glycol contamination in the transmission fluid.

By the way, my dealer told me over and over, that the jerk is normal too. Resetting the ECU helps for a while (another forum search).

I've dyno tested my car and got 318whp. How much is it on the engine? They made a test on 4th gear. Does it matter if the test is done on 3rd or 4th gear?

The c32 spun tires through all of first, and second with a nice mist of smoke trailing. I prefer how the vehicle accelerates in dyno mode...

Oh well, thanks anyway

See yeah
Same thing happened to me in my 2006 C55, so I flipped through the menu again disabled dyno mode and put it back into dyno mode and booyaa, smokey tire time...

I was having an issue with the vehicle going into safe mode while in dyno mode. It's never happened when the vehicle is not in dyno mode, so something weird is going on there...

^Did you take it out of dyno mode and try again?

So, does it matter whether the car is in dyno mode or not when actually on a dyno? Seems to be mixed results from what I have read...

Well, the problem is centered around the traction control system. Apparently it should be confused by the fact that rear wheels are moving, and the front wheels are not. From what I've heard there is no difference though. Could be other reasons, not 100% sure on that one.
