Hood emblem/badge
Where have you folks picked up your flat hood badges from inexpensively? I'm hunting for one that is the same size as the base dimension of the star emblem (1.75" wide).

I looked at one at Performance Products but it was 2.25" and don't want to play with something that isn't as correct a fit at the OE.

I'm looking for something in the $50 dollar range and below as I'm not interested in putting out $200 for a flat badge. Thanks in advance for your recommendations and help!

formymercedes has a few, and ebay has them too.

but of course if you are just looking for a normal flat emblem, for my mercedes has it for $35 ish.

actually i was trying to find one like yours but could only find the cheapo versions so opted for mine instead and i have to say I love it + being a modified OEM badge it was a piece of cake to fit and took less than a minute

Anyone know how much the OE flat badge is that is pictured above here from MB (and the part number)? This one is a ebay seller that modifies the OE emblems and sells them. It looks good from this picture but hard to tell on the bay.....he did a good job in the AMG inset I must say.

Any of you guys know where to get the AMG badge pictured above in this post (the badge with the raised lettering, tree, cam and lifter). I emailed the poster of it twice and no response so it must be top secret!

you mean the first one pictured on top (colored logo)? well i think 4-AMGs is out of town.... i just received mine last night and lovin it!!

pm 4-AMGs, he sells those.

They put up the guys email address but someone yanked it down. Maybe it's because this board is pro-DFW White Star Emblem. Not sure though.
