I think quite a few, from this site, ordered from Jamie (I did). I just logged on and everything looked the same, including their accepted credit card logos. I did not try to order though.

Too bad about Jamie. He seemed like a decent guy who was trying his best to do a good job at a great price.

Yeah I'll miss the discount. I tried to place an order last week and it had all of the logos however during the checkout process you can't use anything but Paypal and when you click on the button to pay it gives an error.

Like I said I'll miss the discount compared to my local stealership.

I ordered a few thing from them. No complaints. Sad to see it go, we got some good deals on there.

No worries guys... we still have another option:

Duvals
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=213951

Pros:
- Excellent customer service. Steve Foster is the guy in charge here.
- They have been always at 25% off LP.
- They are willing to work with you in any inquiries. I have bought around $2K in parts in the last 2 years.

Cons:
- Their policies doesn't alloy to ship big items (like a windshield) or like the new style key.
- The shipping charges are inflated, but you can always ask for an adjustment once it ships.

I have only purchased 2 items from oempartsdirect: a windshield and the repair kit. I didn't need the repair kit and it took me 4 months to get my refund back.

Interesting notion. Weird that you can't buy extra keys from them too.

Duval uses the same sales engine so the site feels very familiar. OEMpartsdirect was not following MB policy regarding sales of keys. Those of us that got the keys there were very lucky to have done so.

Well I don't see how it's different. I sent a copy of my registration and DL. When I went to the dealer to buy a key that's the same thing they asked for.

Hello all. Apparently the dealership never paid the bill to renew the contract with trademotiion, which is the company from TX that maintains the catalog part of the site. I talked to Chris today and he can not get in to change any of the settings, and trademotion will not deal with them until they pay the bill. So you may be able to still get some stuff for a few more days. And Scott, I did follow all MB rules concerning the keys. Just ask the people who tried to order them and never got them. Without proper documentation, I never ordered any keys for them.

Maybe you meant regarding the keys of MB ripping off the customer so they have to pay over $200 bucks.

I'm sorry, Jamie. I was not trying to imply that you were doing anything improper. It's just that everyone was saying that MB would not allow a key to be sold without face-to-face proof of ownership.

I had ordered my key from you without any documentation. A day later, people on this forum were saying that we should fax registration and driver's license to you. I did that and did receive the key a few days later. I did, and do, appreciate your help and service.

Sorry, again, if it sounded like I was speaking against you.

I wish you and your family all the best as you move on to your next venture.

Thanks, Jamie.

You did the right thing with the documentation.
