Alex,
I appreciate the fact that you're probably very busy at the moment. I was just wondering if there's any update on the gear shift badge?
TIA.

I even had one that got damaged at a tire-shop one time, and I wrote back to the seller and asked if they sold individual ones, not needing another set of 4. He just asked for my address and sent me one for free.
They are not stickers, at least they don't look like stickers. They are part of the cap, and do not fade in the sun or anything. Really good quality. And the emblem is exactly like the AMG Affalterbach logo, not that cartoonish looking drawn version that you sometimes see on eBay.

seems like a long time for these to ship.
Even for the first ten people....??
When can people expect for the rest to ship out?if they are already made,it should not take this long for them to ship?

I know this is not his day time job, alright.
But when something like this gets set up,and followed trough and payed for, then that is called a Business Transaction.
And it is only normal to expect to be updated from time to time on what the situation is,and how the things are progressing.

Bela, I have to agree with the others that you need to give folex a little bit more slack. IMHO this is no way a standard "business transaction". I think he's making little to no $$$ on this--so therefore we shouldn't hold him to the same standard. As you probably know, he's done an amazing amount of work on this--and has a "real" job/family/friends, etc. So if we have to wait longer for our badges--I'm certainly ok with that.
I still can't believe that he actually got this pushed through and manufactured.
Folex--thanks again!

Thanks Alex, these look great.
Has anyone attached their's, if so where on the fender would be the best spot?

What do you think
I could not wait any longer, so I thought i would take a measuring tape, some scotch tape, and a camera.
I placed the badges 3 inches about the beading, and half an inch from the door seam.

Interesting...thanks for the post. Based on where you have it now, is the emblem flush to the fender?
