Personally got nothin against Dawson. It's impossible to judge one's tone, just seemed like he was aggressively against it. The more and more I look at it, the more and more I love my front quarter panels. They are downright sexy, however, I would like to try a 5.5 AMG on there. I've never been a fan of shaving badges, but at the same time, over-badging is always a concern.

My philosophy is keep it simple. To me, the 5.5 AMG badge is simple and not flashy. To each his own right?

All right I think I'm going to go with 6 badges now or 3 sets. I'm probably a little neurotic, but I'd like 2 back up sets especially if this is a one time limited run.

So any update on this or is the earthquake in China the reason for the delay?

Not too late yet. Basically, the sculpting guy or girl has to make that metal piece there exactly as a mirror of the way the badges look first so they can pour the mold around it. The hard part is making every little piece even and smooth as can be. I will start the paypal thing probably tonight.

They are a little heavier than you'd think because of the materials. I would think I could throw it in a priority mail or express envelope though. I will check the cost at the post office tomorrow.
