I was allways very good at lining up things to the correct angle,i did it just by looking at the Car.took some time and a few test as a precaution, meaning, put the badge on,bu only with slight pressure, then move far away from the car and look at it,see if it is flush with the lines in the fender and the door moldings.then take measurements from the first badge you applied, and do the second.
About the Black sticker.....if you don't know what it is,it's even better.

Yes just find the right position for the first badge, then just measure and apply the second badge.
As i said i did it all strictly by looking at it and measuring with nothing else then my fingers and eyes!

i see many of the people getting this badge on cars that didn't start with a badge in that location.
These badges remind me of those * 22" * 'dub' badges.

So can't non-AMG drivers add an AMG badge or for that matter an M3 badge on the back of their car and explain it's because it looks 'hawt!'?

Exactly, the AMG badge means something, and so does the 6.3 badge in that location. Why add extra badges? Spend the money on a spoiler, or a detail job, or even just washing your car.
Soon you'll have people adding a "5.0 MBZ" and "3.0 MBZ" badge in that location.
BTW, i did want to complement you guys on doing a great job organizing and finding this piece though.
I'm only pointing out my opinion, because i know you guys would be 'honest' about anything i put up that you guys didn't like.

So,what does the AMG and 6.3 badging mean,i mean being positioned exactly there?Looks like you know something most of us don't?

also, how is it the same placing 3.0 and 5.0 badges in that same location?
I don't get what you are saying.
And you might not like the badges bing placed there....we do.It's about different styles, likes and dislikes.
But if you are trying to convince a whole bunch of people that payed good money for those puppies, and waited a long time to get them, not to put them on,i gotta tell you,you are barking up the wrong tree

I thought that the 6.3 was there to introduce AMG's first completely original engine. If it doesn't have any special meaing, then why can't 300s and 550s, put a 5.0 MBZ or 3.0 MBZ badge in the same location?
Originally that location was to specify special option packages, like 'sportline' or 'sport' etectera, but it got washed out when they started putting 'deluxe' and 'comfort' badges in that location, and that's why it hasn't been used in a long time.

Thanks, for the comment on the 560 btw, but it's currently being parted out
it got rear ended, so i'm on the search for a widebody this time around.
I love the way your CLK is setup, mine is completely stock except for AMG body kit and tint.
