I am ordering my C63 and planning to TT it with a custom tuner....

So I am selling the HPS Supercharger Kit for $3500. It has a brand new upgraded intercooler, pump and injectors, it also comes with a custom ECU program. I have plenty of dyno's showing 388rwhp and over 400rwtq (before Intercooler and pump upgrade) with nothing else added. Now the temps at WOT are in the 90F!! These are posted on the other forums but I can post them here if you like.

Everything is in perfect working order. It is still covered by Magnusson Products. It is the 5th Generation MP112 Radix blower with a billet aluminum HPS housing, airbox, intake splitter, hoses, ducts, belts, etc...

Keep in mind that even Kleemann and Renntech are no longer claiming over 100rwp gains on a 11:1CR engine of the C55s. Kleemann kits begain using the same exact Eaton blower as this HPS kit in 2007. This HPS Kit generates 6lbs of boost but you can get the smaller pulley for $50-100 (2.5in dia vs. 2.75in) and get 8-9lbs of boost that is still safe and push you over 400rwp.

Let me know if you are interested...

Hey:

Isn't this your quote under lifter tick? Is the blower crapped out or what nix:

"I am also starting to hear what sounds like what you are describing after Kleemann Cams were installed but was told by the shop that the sound was coming from the Supercharger bearings beginning to fail. It sounds like a cross between rattling and clacking. Still waiting on the final word on what it is but I believe it is the Supercharger. Looks like a Kleemann SC is going to replace the HPS SC kit if Magnusson does not warranty the blower itself."

If you have a spare week or two, read through this thread for the history of this S/C.

I have gotten quite a few PMs. Go to WWW.MYHPS.COM and click on Picture Gallery. There are plenty of pics including one on my car at the Los Angeles Auto Show. I can also post more recent pics but only after the kit is removed since it is stilll at the tuner's shop right now. This kit will be checked/inspected by Magnusson Products under warranty before I sell it.

Believe me, I would never sell something that the buyer would not be proud of. I sold my AMG brakes, Johnnson Pump, Sprintbooster, etc... on this forum and nobody complained about the quality or price.

"In Bullet point format:
1) Giving me a Fake Dyno showing 414rwp
2) 1st Independent Dyno was 310rwhp, Last Independent was 318rwhp.
3) Stutters, Stalls and Jerks when I accelerate.
4) Check Engine Lights that constantly needed to be reset.
5) At least 150+ dynos trying to fix lack of power and CELs.
6) Lost use of car for nearly 1/2 of the time during a 6 month period.
7) Lied about not needing ECU tuning until I raised the issue.
8) Threatened to void warranty of own customers if they complain.
9) Numerous malfuctions with other HPS owner's kits (faulty wiring, cracked SC crankshaft, intercooler, failed pump, vacuum leaks, AFR too lean, etc..) and a confirmed blown engine caused by Kit.
10) Used customer's cars for R&D testing and calling it an upgrade.
11) Refuses to answer phone calls or emails.
12) Lost time from work taking car down 200 miles to Escondido for repair.
13) Out of pocket costs for car rentals while car was in the shop.
14) Modifiying my post on this forum and using as Customer Testimonial on MyHPS.com website. (I'm going to sue him for this)
15) Refusing to offer partial refund for defective kit.
16) Amended contract disclaims that product will work at all.

Attention: All potential HPS buyers!! Read the Sales Contract CAREFULLY! If you do then you would walk out of the office immediately and kill the deal for your own sake!"

Yes, I did not have a good experience overall with HPS and it did cost me ALOT of time and money during this time. BUT THIS particular kit has many custom components as a result of my constant complaints to them about getting things right. In the end, with custom tuning, injectors, upgraded intercooler core and pump, it made very good power and drives smoother than stock. Linh (clkslk) and Vadim@GMG Racing can attest to that. It still makes 6-7lbs PSI of boost, (389rwhp, 425rwtq at Status last dyno before intercooler failed and was later upgraded) ,AFR of 11-12, AIT at WOT of 95F even after 30K miles logged on my car. Vadim data-logged all this last week at GMG Racing.
I installed this kit when it had only 800 miles on it practically from the showroom floor directly to HPS. No CELs, Jerking, etc.. anymore for at least a year now. As a result of my foolish patience, the HPS kit (if they incorporated all my upgrades into their standard kit) is a very good bargain if they are still selling them at $7-8K. I am basically selling mine at less than half price with possible custom upgrades. If you wanted to buy a new kit, then deal with Jim@Mechtech Motorsports instead of Adam@HPS.

As for your link reference to the Pump Sale. He never complained about the price or quality. Their was just some miscommunication on how urgently he needed it. I offered to refund him in full but he apparantly did not respond so I assume he was satisfied.

Why are you so negative?

In fact I am thinking about keeping this C55 and posting my DYNO results by Monday after Vadim finishes the Kleemann, VRP, AMS, Evosport upgrades. I am CONFIDENT that I WILL ABSOLUTELY HIT at least 450rwhp! Yeah, I know that E55s already make this kind of power BUT how many can handle curves and the track like a C body sedan?

I'm still getting the C63 and will ask Vadim on how to TT it

Why not just just get the C63 and enjoy a car that is perfect from the get go. Leave the twin turbos to the porsches and the Supra's.

Because this is LA and Motorsports Capital! I'm eagerly waiting on the status of a CL63 030 that is being TT'd now. Can't tell you who but let's just say that he's a tuner. I did it to a brand new C55 with 800 miles so why should I stop now?
