ZEX or NOS?

ZEX or NOS?

I can't make up my mind on which is the better brand for our cars.
Any recommendations?

i think as long as it is a wet system it does not matter but personal choice on my car is nos.

I found a site that sells a Nitrous Kit specifically for SC'd or TB'd cars. It's called Cold Power made by Cold Fusion. Anybody heard or used it? So far the leading brands seems to be NOS, ZEX, NX, and Cold Fusion. I sure need some guidance on which is mos suited for MBs.

i am using ZEX on my car. I believe AMGJERRY is using the same.

Would you happen to have the model number? The most expensive one seems to be the multi=stage kit that sprays at WOT and then again by using a switch on the dash? Is ZEX the most advanced in terms of technology?

The ZEX kit has the solenoids built in to the control unit. This means that you only have to mount one box, vs with the NOS setup you have to mount the control unit and 2 solenoids. Either kit will be fine and the outcome will be the same. However, I prefer the nozzle on the Zex kit.

You will want this one.

See how small the control unit is? Very easy to hide.

I'M going to pull the trigger but am still a bit afraid based on some FAQs on the NitrousDirect.com website.

For instance, detonation, hydro-lock, etc... What are some of the real risks?

Start off small and spend about 3 hours on the dyno tuning the kit.

With a 35 shot, I picked up 40HP and 60+Trq at the wheels.

I will be selling my full setup (no longer have car)

2 bottles, Drive-by-wire switch (WOT and On-Off window based on rpm's) Purge, MB MAF taped for the nozzle, presure controlled bottle heater, all wires hoses, relays and switches, full arangement of jets. scmatics on how to connect to your ecu

dyno at 413/499 at the wheels in a 06 slk55 and times slips in the 11.50 range with MT drag radials will also have a set of them for sale on C32 rear rims with 5 passes on them (no big burnouts)
