There's something wrong with my tires.
The outer edges on all four of my tires look like they have cuts into them. They also seem to have uneven wear. My car only has 5700 miles and I've never raced or treated the car bad. I had my alignment done for the second time 3 weeks ago. Could it be toe-in or is it just bad tires. If they screwed up the alignment do i get new tires? Thanks.

First off, what tire pressure are you running? Try something around 36 psi on the rears. On the fronts, it has been reported that you cannot avoid them wearing on the edges. You can try increasing the pressure, the standard I think was 32 psi. I keep them at 35 psi.

Yeah, can you post a pic? I have about 7000 miles on my Pilot Sports and have abused the hell out of them and they still look new. Slight wear on outer edge of fronts.

9200 miles on mine. The front has obvious wear on the outer edge (the rear has even wear). I brought the car back to the dealer the other day, and have them check all the alignment. While i was waiting for the car i was curious if other C-class will have the same problem. I was right after i checked out one C-coupe with C7 that was also in the service line. It also has the problem of wearing much faster on the front tire's outer edge.
The dealer checked the alignment, and i'm going to wait and see if the wear on the front shoulder continues to happen. I begining to think it's the problem with the way MB design the front suspension of the C-class.
btw i keep my tire pressure at 38 front, and 39 rear

i'm thinking about either ContiSport 2 or Bridgestone RE950 (don't know if they have the size though) when my Pilots die.

With the C32 you need all the traction that you can get. If you are looking at the Bridgestones, than you should consider the S-03 if you want to have tires in the same class of performance as the Pilots. Otherwise just replace them with new Pilots or the PZeros Rossos. The replacement tires usually last longer than the OEMs. Make sure your alignment is correct after you repalce the tires in order to maximize the tire wear.
