Whole Sale Price On 2003 C32

If I do decide on this car they are asking $23,900 It has 32K miles and is in exc cond exp some chips on the hood. It has a 2 year 100K mile Mercedes Waranty.

Black Exterior
Interior Charcoal/Merlot
Rain Sensor
CD Player
Lighting Package

What would be a fair price to offer? The car is on consignment and has been since Sept. First price was $25,900 then dropped to $23,900.

Thanks

I think that is a very fair price. The mileage seems pretty low. I would be content with $23,5 and very happy with $23

Per KBB, the private party value in "good" condition is about $26k. So it's definitely a good deal if it checks out, especially with the warranty. Not to say that there aren't good deals to be had in this market, especially this time of year and with the new C63 coming soon but the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" always has to be kept in mind. I'd do a Carfax on it and get a full check out by an MB dealer.

It is owned by a guy here in town that has it at a Highline dealer on consignment. It was serviced by the Benz dealer here in town and has all service records. It also includes a 2 year 100K warranty directly from MB. I had him run a paint meter all over the car and the paint is the same thickness everywhere. Just need to see if that thickness matches up with stock thickness.

Guy has a new car coming next week.

Yeah try to talk them down since the car doesn't have nav. Then you can go out and spend the difference on a modern system.

That was going to be my next question after the mods was about how much is the dealer going to charge to install Nav? I assume they can if it did not come with it.

Thanks

I was worst..

my 1st MB and AMG.

I bought my 02 in 05' for $32k (20k miles)...private party

back then.. C32's were neck and neck with M3 prices..

since then.. the M3's resale value has surpassed the C32.

now.. i'll be lucky if I get $18k.

sounds like a good deal especially with the warranty.. The old Mercedes nav sucks anyways.. I wouldn't waste your money.

Yeah I need to find updated CDs for mine and they're charging like 300 bucks at the dealer, so get an aftermarket one. Trust me, it is a lot easier to install stereo mods too when you dont have COMAND and it lets you rip out all the stock speakers without any worry (the bose ones are pretty horrible too). Drop like about 1k on a good nav system and a little more on a stereo if you're an audiophile like me. The spare tire well makes a nice spot to fit a 12" sub btw.

I called the dealer and they said they want $3,500 for a Nav install.

C32 AMG - RIP :(
the factory nav can't hold a candle to aftermarket nav units. Don't waste a single second on the factory nav. I hate it.

Factory nav

I have the latest Nav Cd's and they only find about half the roads im looking for. Points of interest arent bad though. I also have a computer installed with another nav with the street atlas software, It cant be beat. It has everything you could imagine. I kept all my factory equipment installed and added on top of it because of resale. The 10 speaker BOSE really isnt that bad for stock and that factory 10" sub hits pretty decent..
