when you went to the dyno, what setup had you been running on the car right before you dyno'd?Originally Posted by ShawnQ
I plan to try it at the track, and will also do a pulley swap and tune eventually. If I can afford it, I'll dyno with and without it to see what I come up with.I just couldn't believe that I LOST 10hp with it? Didn't make much sense!

I had been running the SL55 Pipe for approximately 200miles or so. Dyno runs 4 and 5 were with the SL55 pipe (these were the first two after the guy figured out he couldn't punch it or it would kick down)...and 7/8 were with the stock pipe. The runs were in numerical order.Originally Posted by 1FASTC32

I believe that different engine configurations may yield different horsepower results. I also believe that the amount of airflow that your vehicle is producing with the stock pulley is playing a factor in your output horsepower. I'm sure that once more boost is generated, the Y-pipe will surely be necessary and in turn give you better results.
I say dump it back to stock til you have a bigger PSI pulley installed then dyno with stock then with SL55 splitter to see if it works better with other mods instead.
