New C32 Owner
Hello,
I just wanted to drop a note and introduce myself. I've been searching for a while and finally picked up exactly what I wanted yesterday afternoon: a black 2003 C32 AMG. Has 43k miles on it and I gave $25k which seemed to be a good price from what I've seen. Didn't have the HID's but from what I've seen I can put those in myself thankfully.
That's it, just wanted to say Hi.

Congrats and enjoy! I love mine.
Welcome to the forum, which I have found extremely helpful (as well as entertaining when it comes to the Star Wars bar scene that is often Off Topic).
Post some pics when you get a chance.

Thanks everybody.
I was flipping through the newbie thread earlier and there's a wealth of information. Many thanks to c32used for putting it together.
Now I just have 30 days to come up with an appropriate personalized tag...

Does your have Nav? I just picked up mine with No Nav 2003 30K miles, 1 owner all service records, 2 year extended warranty for $22,900. But I did not get Nav which I did want.
I have been doing some reading and it sounds like the best mod for a couple hundred is the Sprint Booster. Looks like it just allows better throttle response

As for the nav, can I find a used one and install that? Or is it one of those not really possible things?
And thank you for the additional welcomes. Nice people here.
Thanks,
Rich

I am in the process of looking for the factory Nav unit. Just keep checking the classifieds. I was told the stock Nav is not very good but I want to still get a factory unit. I need to find out if the radio unit just pops out and the Nav unit snaps in. I still am unsure if the 2003 C32's came pre wired for Nav. If they did I would think it would be plug and play.
You got one incredible deal that's for sure. Mine doesn't have nav or xenon's unfortunately. First thing I want to do is the xenon's before breaking into anything for performance. I'm a stickler for good lighting at night.
As for the nav, can I find a used one and install that? Or is it one of those not really possible things?
And thank you for the additional welcomes. Nice people here.
Thanks,
Rich

Welcome. If I may add something of use, don't bother with the factory nav. If I had it to do over again, I would have searched for a C32 without it. The factory nav units are just years behind the aftermarket, and they lock you into a lower quality of audio system as well. Get a Garmin or something if you need nav!
