the offset too high. may need 10mm spacers. still, that may not enable you to clear calipers.
check with tire rack for spacers, test fit with them.

The guy that had the car before me said he thinks I need ET35. He said you need the ET of 35 to clear the calipers. Tire Rack is closed today so I have no way to check

If I am looking at 17" winter wheels can someone through out the size and off set choices?

Like for instance 5-112 / 7.5 / Et45 I know this is once size that wil fit. What are the other?

Tires yes its what I use now on Stock rims but not positive on rims yet...will ask once I have them put on by Discount tires on Monday or Tuesday.

P.S. I do use a spacer on my replica Bremmas to clear caliper.

I was hoping the ET 45 would work becuase this package that is 5-112, ET 45 17x8" is for sale in town here. I do not think the ET 45 will clear the brakes though. If you hear different please let me know if you could.

This is very simple. Test fit, or have a guarantee that they fit. I went through a wheel fiasco when I first bought the car. I was furious about it. I was told they would fit. Not only did they not fit, but because of the rim width, the spacer made it look like I was rolling through the barrio. I have 18" replicas on my car, and they clear the caliper without spacers. Even if you have to save money to get the right rims, do it.

I guess each rim is shaped different so even if an et of 35 was on there before for a winter set up it does not mean another manf with the same offset of 35mm will work. I will just have to try to find a set in NH or MA and go try them on for size.
