Porterfield makes great dustless pads for our cars. I recommend them.

Here is a link of from C32used that just bought the Morse set up for brake pads.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/216611-1-week-morse-ceramic-brakes-review.html

I have used Axxis on couple of my performance cars with very good luck. You do not realize how nice it is to not have brake dust once it is gone.

As for the tires I have also used the Toyo T-1R's that have worked very well in summer/rain driving conditions.

PS2's are also nice but a lot more than the T-R's will cost you.

none
My porterfields dont fit perfectly in front and result in a clunking sound btwn forware and reverse. It is off by like a fraction. I noticed there is play in the caliper. I heard this is a common problem and the noise is annoying. Anyone else have this problem?

My Morse a month in are great! NO brake dust and great stopping power. If all you do is regular use then I highly recommend them. As for drag they did fine but many say Ceramic are not great for road course tracking cause of the heat. Tires well many have their opinions and i say dont leave out regular tires. I use currently 235/45/17 Dunlop sport SP 8000 and they do great in drag as you can see my numbers on my sig below.

I have Axxis Ultimate pads and SS lines on all four corners.

The performance is great but they make some noise when the car is cold.

I'm on my 3rd set of PS2s.

I've had the Akebono cermamic pads on my C55 for 2 months now . They work great, very little dust, no fade, no noise.

i dont remember where i read it at... but someone took their car to a dyno jet and had 19's on their car and did 2 runs one with the 17's on and the 19's on and there was a 17 to 20 HP difference in the bigger and smaller wheels... (the smallers having more power) i guess its just the tire/ wheel takes more to get a fun turn then a smaller wheel.... but i guess whatever makes the car look sweet.
