Dyno Results
Prior to my next round of mods (ordered from Erick @ LET) I decided to get a baseline Dyno.
Stock my car put down 298hp and 292 ft/lbs of torque on a Dynojet. Since then I have made the following modifications:
ASP Pulleys
SL55 Y-pipe
Resonator Delete
Minor Exhaust work
Large Secondary HE
Johnson CM90 pump wired to run when the car is on
Seperated cooling system.
Yesterday I went to a different Dyno but still a Dynojet. The numbers were surprising but before anyone wants to say anything about the stock numbers not being comparable to the new numbers do to different Dynos the purpose was not to compare the two runs but establish a new baseline.
The next round of mods includes:
Evotech ECU
LET Pulley
Schrick Cams (keep your fingers crossed for me)
Headers* (pending further info).
So by now you are wondering what the car put down. How about 329 hp and 323 ft/lbs of torque. Not too shabby.

I thought the car was very consistent stock as at the drag strip I was able to run 3-4 back to back 13.0 runs.
With the new HE exchanger and pump the power just does not drop off. You know how your car feels when you first start it up before the coolant has had a chance to heat up? Well the car feels that way all the time now.

You will have the fastest SLK32 around!!
Don't worry about the cams. I have about 10,000 miles on mine and no misfires or anything. The idle is good too....you will like it!
I wish more people would jump on the cams.
I'm very excited for you!

The manufacturers quotes for performance gains are at the crank not the wheels. Regardless of what the claims are I think the pulleys are well worth the money. You can see the gains on the dyno and feel the gains in driving.

I managed a clean 299rwhp with sl55 splitter, magnecor wires, denso plugs and green filters but had the ASP pulley installed so will know rwhp currently before the tuning on Thursday and will do a write-up after.

Recieved the ECU around mid day. Fast Shipping and Great Service.
Reinstalled the ECU but have not had a chance to take the car for spin. The question is how with the ECU perform without a number of the mods it was optimized to support installed?
