275/35/18 rears (on C32)
Too wide?
I'm looking at a set of 18"'s for my C32 (yes, my 17" wheels have some nice dings...and I'd like to have a slightly larger wheel).
The package I'm looking at has 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear with Dunlop DZ101's on them.
Are those 275's going to be too wide? I think I've read on here that 255's are the widest we can go.

And for an SL actually as well...that what the wheels were for.
I take it 275's won't go on our C32's in the back?

275/35 will be hard to fit onto a W203 without fender mods....
Before you pull the trigger and buys the dunlops....take a look at the Nitto invos. I have 12000 miles on them and absolutely love them for the money. I even took them to cal speedway for some fun. Best bang for the buck IMHO.

i test fitted 285/30-18s on 40mm ET 9" wide wheel. i couldn't roll on the tires but they looked like they might have worked.

That tire size is a correct fitment for an E, not a C.
