CLK63 wheel will it work on a C55?

Okay I'm in love with the 63 wheel however I am trying to find out if the CLK63 wheel will fit with proper offset etc for the C55. Any suggestions?

I don't have the specs on them but I will bet money they'll bolt right on. I've seen a few W203s with those wheels on.

I saw one post that someone put them on but I hoped that more people have and could give pros and cons.

what pros and cons? other than look you won't feel any different. no one's changed to the clk63 wheel for performance reasons. they'll bolt right on.

Are they heavier than stock AMG wheels?

For your car, I doubt it... they're both cast, 18" AMG wheels. FWIW, they ARE "stock AMG wheels" - just not stock on the C55... I agree on the look, though - I think they look great too.

The stock front Style IV AMG rim on the C55 are 7.5x18", while the front Style VI AMG on the CLK63 are 8x18". Also, the spokes on the Style VI rimss are "solid", while the spokes of the Style IV rims are "split" (ie less alloy material), if you know what I mean. When I lift the two rims by myself, I think the CLK63 front rim is a little bit heavier than the C55 front rim. I didn't put them on a scale, but that's what I felt, for what it's worth.

Also note that the offfsets are different between the 2 sets of rims in question.

So was it worth the added weight for your new wheels?

I was thinking the same thing. I've seen a couple of C230 Kompressors with the CLK63 wheels on here in town.

Let's put it this way, I can't tell a difference when driving on the roads with the Style VI CLK63 rims. The purpose of changing rims was purely for cosmetic reasons, because I think it makes the car look a lot better.

I use my stock Style IV rims for the track now.
