I was at a light and my check engine light came on... when I started moving car almost felt like it was in limp mode and running rough. I pulled over to the side turned off the car and turning back on. Check engine light was still on but the car went back to normal. Next day I started the car and check engine light was gone. I drove for 300-400 miles and exact same thing happend. Any ideas? Yes I already replaced the IC and Secondary air pump. I did not have time to hook it up to a scanner to see what code it spits out Any one with similar issues?

John,

even if the check engine light is off, the car still has a habit of storing codes, i would check to see if it still has a code stored, we could be of better help at that point...could be any number of issues...

Eric, I plan on changing the wires and plugs anyways... do you recommend going with aftermarket or stick with OEM? I've seen many threads saying to go with aftermarket and others with OEM

the new LETMotorsports wires are the best of both worlds, OEM fitment and quality with better spark delivery...if you are going to run a bigger pulley then i would go ahead and go the one step colder on the plugs with a set of NGK's...

let me know if you have any other questions...thanks!

Hey Eric,

I ran the diognostic and I get missfire on cylinder 4 and 6. So it's time to do a tune up. I will go with NGKs... which ones should I go with? Also what about wires? I will pick them up tomorrow. Also how to go about replacing them. I appreciate all your input!

John, go with the ones that i have on the website in the C32 section...it you are stock, go with the stock heat range, if you are modded, go with one heat range colder...

i would recommend the LETMotorsports Wires, but if you are going to get anything else, just go back with OEM wires...

let me know if i can be of further assistance...
