Some MB techs dont know what they're talking about tho
Or maybe he meant the battery dies after 200,000 clicks?

Trust me this guy knows what he's talking about since he's been working with these keys for a while going back when they were cutting the keys themselves. Now they just take the remote key plug it into a adapter and have the software downloaded from Germany

considering the plastic on my key is cracking around the unlock button, I don't think the 200,000 limit you speak of is even relevant.
