I used to live in Houston for a while. It is certainly a fun place.

you know Erick,
You might want to consider a M104 turbo kit, those guys are dying for twin turbo kits (especially the C36 boys). If you could develope one for around $7-8k i think it would sell.

Why not build a Synchro?
Hey guys, looks like you have a lot going on here, and I'd love to see what you come up with. I do have a suggestion though. Why not continue to use the charger, but feed it with the turbos. It seems to me like it would be an easier install, and be just as effective. The supercharger is a positive displacement pump, which is what gives the car such a flat power band, there is no relative change in boost across the rev range, but it does take power to turn the pump, in this case from the crank ~75HP at max RPM. The problem is that turbos aren't "free" energy either, they introduce pressure on the exhaust to turn them, which also robs power. The biggest factor in all of this is the adiabatic efficiency of the FI system. In this case we have one of the best superchargers ever constructed sitting on the top of the engine already. Why don't you add twin turbos to the motor each supplying about 8lbs of boost in parallel and force-feed the charger with them. Then under-drive the supercharger to about 12lbs. This will take less overhead from the charger at high revs, while supplying the smaller turbos exhaust from a ~5.5L equivalent (3.2L *1.8 atm) engine to spool them. That should make your 500HP while maintaining a nearly flat power band. This is what I intend to do to my wife's SRT-6 Crossfire when the warranty is up. My C32 stays stock, or close to it. Anyway, just my $.02. Nice work and carry on

I believe this was discussed earlier in the thread and in a couple of other threads. This has been done before since WWII in fighter planes. For planes it worked out great, for a car it didn't have the same results.
VW did this a couple of years ago with a supercharger and turbo charger for there golf. The transistion between the two was horrible and generally hurt the performance of the car. Just look up VW GOLF GT.
Most modern ball bearing turbos can spoon pretty quickly anyways, long as there sized correctly for the car. Using both the supercharger and turbo adds a complexity to the kit that isn't really needed and cause problems in the future. A good tune can give a pretty flat torque curve anways.
I would rather just finish with the tt kit in a month then waste of a couple of months trying to get the two to work together reliably.

I'm aware of the VW, but I would not "transition" Many applications have seen this setup, with good results. I would simply feed the charger with the turbos. Since the supercharger will just step up whatever you give it, it will have the same torque curve shape it does now with the addition of a low - moderate boost turbo curve added on top. Also, this would likely get better fuel economy than the stock motor when you keep your foot out of it and should be easier to build because you don't have to remove / bypass existing hardware. Like I said before, just my $.02. I will likely do it in 2 years when my wife's car's warranty is up.

2003 C32 AMG & 2009 CTS-V
Not anymore! Just saw on a "Supercar Exposed" program on Speed Network an owner somewhere in Miami has a 10 second C32! No info on what makes it go this fast (no shameless mention of any of the tuners I'm familiar with or what magic they used,.... guess whatever tuner(s) involved didn't pay the producers). The guy they featured also owned a Black, a DTM, and a brand new SL65. Of course the SL65 and the Ferrari obviously were the reason the show looked him up. Nice stable he had,... but particularly amusing was that there were no BMWs!
Anyway,... according to this program, somewhere in Florida resides a 10 second C32!
