Cool C32 vs. RS6 wow what an outcome

C32 vs. RS6

Im really surprised how a little c class sedan can actually pull on the 450hp v8 bi turbo awd rs6 i thought that the rs6 would have been way far ahead.

The one time they both launch from a stop, the RS6 pulls away by a couple car-lengths... which is what I'd expect, I guess.

No text on the video saying "stock vs. stock, modded vs. stock, or modded vs. modded" either... which would've been interesting to know.

Stock RS6s tend to run high 12s, stock C32s tend to run mid 13s... modding both (ECU/TCU for RS6, Stg II+ for C32) seems to get them in low-mid 12 territory.

What sucks is with Stage 2 its only there closer to an RS6 not as fast or faster..........from a dig he left the modded C32 behind enough to keep the power of a stage 2 C32 from being able to close in on him...Sure the AWD will have an advantage but obviously the power of the RS6 maintains that advantage....the only time it will be a glorious thing is at highway speeds where that RS6 won't pull the stage 2 C32 to much. Being stage 2 you are closer to his 450 horse power. Nice runs though.

Nice! That's your car right? (I assume since the mod list is identical and the car is also silver)

My New Year's resolution is to never again watch a jiggly home video taken in the dark showing headlights moving ahead or behind.

Folks who can afford high end German sedans should spend a few more bucks and go to a track so you can get some legit results.

True that! At a track like Auto cross or Drag strip in the daylight would be perfect but sometimes plans are made spur of the moment and this happens which I am pleased to watch but nothings better then on a drag strip or safe highway runs at different speeds in the day time.

C32 Stage 2 should be between 410 to 420 hp, but IATs still get a little high on stock pump, and I do believe the car can benefit a couple of more hp and increased consistency by adding a cooling mod: CM30 pump, heat exchanger, etc.....

Your car's setup is very close to mine except I also had the full SL55 air boxes (22% larger), bigger snorkle tubes, and custom ECU tune (a more aggressive one than the standard stage 2 program).

Thanks for sharing the videos, your car did great....

Yes very true but what made laugh was that he was going E55 hunting now I have to say Jerry's car withs cams, port and polish and NOS didn't easily beat a E55(stock) but was right there with it it was a drivers race but on average the modded C32s have a very hard time against the stock E55. So good luck to that guy with his older RS6 trying to best a stock E55 and if he does nice but there are modded ones he has to beat eventually....I wonders how he would do against a stock E63 since it has over 30 HP more.

This is a video they put up there at RS6 forum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnYD5eASPPI

Actually, the E55 and E63 make the exact same power on the dyno. Both cars dyno right around 410 to 420 rwhp (about 500 hp at the crank). It was all a Mercedes marketing gimmick. They rated the SL/CL/S classes at 493 hp and the E/CLS at only 469, but the engine is identical. At most of the performance shops, we looked at over 52+ dynos for stock E55 and over 15+ dynos for a stock SL55 and both cars dynoed almost identically.

Why must you always come across as an articulate, educated, and mature contributing member? It’s just not fair to the prepubescent dudes.

The lowly C32 is on par with a decent Honda when comparing their current market value. Besides, daddy pays for mine. Is there any sensible reason why any of us should conduct ourselves in a manner befitting the marque? If some of us want to act like idiots, so be it.

I just love seeing my old car racing - especially since I don't have to (1) go to jail; and (2) pay the maintenance costs!

You need more mods, Tom. What's next?
