Valeo radiator or Behr?
I also want to see who has the updated Valeo and the Behr.
I ask cause the Dealer told me it was a batch of original valeo radiators and not all...I have the Original Valeo with no issues yet. Knock on wood.

I am not doubting you I just don't want to replace it if it was replaced prior to my ownership. I was warned by Jerry about mine being original but MB told me it was a batch that was effected thats why I put up a poll.

As I remember seeing Jerry check mine...if you look on passenger side of engine bay on top of radiator it will have a sticker showing date manufactured..now its not easy to get to and light helps alot. If I am wrong please someone chime in.
If you have a Behr radiator, you will eventually die.

Or a Valeo, or even if you don't own a car at all.
More to your point, obviously all things will fail eventually. Do you have basis to believe that all Valeos (older and newer) will fail prematurely?

I was worried that this may also fail at some point in the future but was told that the original design had been changed 5 times from the start of production, the last change taking place in 07
so any faults should have been sorted
i have a 9/01 build date so i did mine as soon as i found out about the issue. it's a no brainer guys the $300 is insurance against $3000++++.
I had seen a Behr sticker underneath and thought everything was copasetic. Turned out to be on the heat exchanger…as verified during the LET upgrade. Oops!
