I believe you will even get more HP/TQ out of the LET pulley set up over the others.

Would you share how much you paid for the C55 rims? If not I understand. I have been looking for a set for cheap in good cond.

The pulley size is bigger so it should show higher hp/tq then others...but I recommend getting a heat exchanger also pheumonic spacers as well as johnson intercooler pump which LET happens to sell also....

Actually i ended up trading my stock c32 and 500 dollars for the c55 rims. I got real lucky. Can the bigger pulley cause issues to my car later on? Anyone know what the total install should cost?

Wait - you traded your used 17" C32 wheels, plus paid $1,500, for used 18" C55 wheels?

I'm going to have to disagree with your comment "I got real lucky" - in fact, I'd say you got the worst end of that deal by a long shot. You typically see forum members selling their used 18" C55 or CLK55 wheels and tires in the $900 - $1200 range, and that's outright - no "trading" involved.

No i got real lucky considering the c32 rims had curb rash on every rim
( from the previous owner ) which was very noticeable and all 4 tires were completely bald. The c55 rims are chrome with plenty of tread on the tires. It worked out well.

I think you're missing my point.

People buy used C55 (or CLK55) wheels/tires in good condition (i.e. no or minimal curb rash, decent % of treadwear on most of the wheels) for anywhere between $900 - $1200, typically.

Even with curb rash, your C32 wheels/tires probably were worth around $400, conservatively (new C32 wheels/OEM tires would be around $2500-2800). So, you essentially paid $1900 in cash + trade, for used C55 wheels/tires. Chrome I guess is an "x factor" - some people like it, some don't, but it shouldn't add much value, if any.

Anyway, at the end of the day, if you think it was a fair deal, that's all that matters. IMHO, the seller got the better end of this deal, but that's just me

Oh yeah, if you paid $1500 plus your wheels... then the seller has a big smile on his face all the way to the bank!

Just make sure you research your next purchases. u should be able to break 450HP which is stage 2 with the 4k budget, that is if you find used parts! brand new parts will get you to stage 1 with the budget you have.

Good luck!
