Have not seen a thread pop up lately on the Sprintbooster. Who is the best source for one of these today? I recall some old posts regarding some resellers that were slow to ship and I don't want to get burned or wait for these guys. Who sells these and offers the best price coupled with good service?

Well about a year ago I got mine thru Ebay for about $300

I got mine through www.tvtdes******** for about 315 shipped.

It will not fit the 07 C class due to a different pedal assembly. Everyone else should be fine.

Check out this white paper about the sprint booster. It's a good read. Test was done by someone with a R170 SLK and decided to see what the SB really is. Worth $300?

Wow! That's an incredibly well written paper! It simply validates what we already knew about the Sprint Booster, but it supplies great technical info and real data.
We knew the Sprint Booster is all about "feel". It's simply a matter of whether or not someone is willing to pay nearly $300 for a better seat-of-the-pants performance feeling, which our brain interprets as being more fun.

I've debated purchasing a Sprint Booster myself, and if I could get it for about half the regular price I'd probably buy it. However, it's been hard to convince myself to spend $300 on something that will not yield any measurable, true performance gain. I have driven my friend's C55 w/ the SB on it, and there's definitely an implied feel of performance due to our predisposition of understanding what should happen when we press the throttle a certain distance, but then receiving a much more aggressive feel per the amplified throttle signal by the SB.

Well I bought one a year ago and it definitely made the car feel like a small hit of nitrous so would still buy it again even at $500...power or no power enhancement...

This world is based on personal judgements and this document won't change my or most likely every current owners mind. At the end its all about feel...more power usually means a better feel so rather real power or none its a better feel right? Not all will pay for a better performance cause this car already has plenty for most but this won't be noticed or acknowledged by most to have warranty work at all.

Just to let you know, they'll take less than the $299 listed. I know someone who offered $259 per the "make offer" button on ebay, and they accepted it. No need to pay any more than you have to.
