I was going to do a german plate for the front but I was thinking with my long term plans for this car to be blacked out, Ex: black wheels with polished lip, blacked out badges, black grille, ect... I'm not 100% in love with it but it could be cool to get on a BMW's *** and let them know they got a moster behind them.

Take it off... keep the front clean. That would be my advice.

car in general looks better without the plate.
But i found out that it was cheaper to keep it on.
i've been booked twice for not having a plate on the front.

I have to agree with those who recommend removing it. It looks like a giant billboard across the front, and since we don't live in Europe there's really no need to try and duplicate their oversized plates. Just my opinion.
The front looks much more stylish and clean w/o any front plate. Yes, there's a risk for getting a ticket, but how often is that actually going to happen? Not very...
But, it's your car, so you need to be the final judge on what you want.

Front plate not required in AZ, guys! It would be cleaner without, but got to fill the plate holes. The European plate would look cool.

Great looking car. However, keep it clean without the front plate.

In Arizona we dont have a front plate. I had a stock plate mount for the front but it looked stupid blank and even worse with it off being there are holes after removing it and some scratches too. at least i didnt have it say something lame like "sexy AMG" or "fast benz" etc... that would have been the lamest thing ever. I can go on and on about some of the stupidest things some meatheads would put on their car

I have my front bumper drilled as well... to cover the holes, I bought several cheap 3/16" hole covers from hardware store. I then sanded, painted and clear coated them... Your bumper will only have small nipples... and I personally think that would look better than having front plates.

bumperplugs.com sells them also... but it's bigger and requires you to enlarge the holes. The drawback is you could not reinstall your front plates anymore. My way above would still allow you to reinstall your front plates anytime.

Funny thing, now at least, is that the wife got a ticket for no front plate at LAX airport parking for an AZ registered car. Apparently all other crime has been eliminated in the Peoples Republic of California.
