Just Bought 2004 Black on Black C32 with 22 K miles

Hi, coming in here from Chicago IL. Just got a 2004 C32 with 22 K original miles from a real nice private party, Clean carFax and Insurance claim history. \\

Anyway, has 1 month left on warranty and was wondering if there's any issues I should have checked before warranty expires. I hear trans issues (radiator water in it??) and bearings on supercharger?? Any other major issues I should address or perhaps TSBs to look at?? Please advise asap as I am running out of time here with about less than 30 days left

This is my second AMG and 2001 ML55 has been flawless and Never ever in the shop for anything other than oil changes??

take it in and tell them you feel a loss of power, tranny is jerking...
also check the heated seats...the bottom cushions should heat up. if not, they will replace with brand new cushions. they did mine last week, my warranty is up in mid-April

white and whiter
congrats on the car.

few things to check for precausion.

1. intercooler pump (power cuts out)
2. glycol contamination in transmission (jerky shifting)
3. memory seat modules or dome lights (drains battery over night if broken)
4. sway bar bushings/suspension bushings (go in the tell them you hear squeaks from the suspension)

that should take care of most of the stuff for you.

Would love to, but son is taking ACT that day and I have to drive him (rapidly I might add ) Keep up with me on other dates for that.

Thanks to all for the advice, I am hearing primarily water in the trans from the radiator, seat, electrical (lights) and bushings. Thanks again guys, you are great!!

OK, I discovered that the warranty runs out 04/30/2008, which leaves me less than 3 weeks to go. What exactly do I tell them (words??) to get these covered and issues resolved. Car only has 22 K miles right now and seems to run fine. As to all these above, are there TSBs for these or are they well known issues of the C32? I have read on more than one forum that the trans problem (with glycol) in it is prevalent? Any owners here have that issue??

Thanks again for all your help.

Power cutting out - Drive hard for a few days and see if power gives out. For me it was after driving for 20 min and over 80 MPH. Car would suddenly feel like a Civic. If it's cutting out - tell them about it and tell them you suspect it's the IC pump (that you have a few friends with AMG's and they had the same problem and that was the culprit). If the car is fine, don't worry about it. It is a $100 repair - may $150 with labor if you need an independent mechanic.

These are common issues - you should check them thoroughly before the factory warranty expires, that's all. If you aren't experiencing any of these problems, MB's not going to replace anything, obviously, but the good news is that your C32's running fine.
