See Ya On The Other Side

Shipped my baby today, no more C32 for a month or so. I have been super busy trying to rent the house and pack, so I havent been logged in much. Internet gets shut off today, Wed. So Ill see everyone when I get across the pond and in the Father Land. Good luck. God speed. Keep it between the lines.

We will be waiting to hear some Autobahn "kill Stories" from you in the near future. Take care Mark.

I don't even know you...but I seriously jealous already.

Really, really dark beer, really big mugs, meatballs, bread, Autobahn.....mmmm...good. ( Not in that order though!! )

Godspeed & Good luck !

Hmmm.... we could ship and drive US cars legally in Europe?

How about UK? I know the steering wheel is different... but is it feasible w/o much hassle (e.g. inspections, etc.)?

I MADE IT

Just an update. Made it to the Deutschland on Thursday 10 Apr 08. Slept all the way. 7.5 hours. Thank you Nyquil. On Friday we went to see the In-Laws in Hermeskeil. Then we went to see the rest of the family in Heidelberg. Drove right past Hockenheim. I did see about a million Benzes, but not one AMG. Also seen a wrecked Porsche on the side of the Autobahn. It was new too. We rented a Ford Mondeo. I drove it like I stole it....of course. 230 KM on the Autobahn. I think thats about 140. Its good to get the rust out on a used rental car first I suppose. My car gets here next month. If anyone has any questions let me know. My Uncle-In-Law is a Benz mechanic over here. Oh yea, I already looked at some lightweight 18 in wheels. 130 euros each. Here are some pics of my car getting inspected in preperation for shipment.

Does that mean he is helping with the LET header installation?! It’s straightforward and perfunctory, but exhaust system work is never too pleasant. Deligate the task if it is at all possible.

Actually, the reason for this post was to thank you for your service. I sincerely appreciate and respect you for your sacrifices you’ve made in serving our Country.

I have always wanted to drive on the Autobahn

Better yet I was browsing sites that rent cars you can drive the North end of the Nurburing which is something I have always wanted to do.

Pretty much any German car can be rented over here if you have a license. When I was getting the Ford Mondeo I seen brand new audi A4's awaiting plates.
