Gas Mileage: Can this be??

My puter on the 04 C32 with 22 K MILES IS SAYING THAT i AM averaging about 23.2 MPG on my work commute, which is an average of 48 MPH thanaks to Chicago's famous "stop and go" and construction zones (about 80% highway). Can that be correct @ 23.2 MPG. My 07 Honda Accord V-6 which is the DD barely gets that??
What are you guys with some years and experience getting on these? I dont wanna hear about race days either

That's sounds about right.

My 02 C32 with 108K miles is averaging 22 mpg and it's doing as much as 25-26 mpg while cruising down the highway.

Mine would be just as good, but I do a lot of city driving. The most I've ever got was almost 24mpg. On the second screen, my average is around 17mpg, I'm not sure which one you're asking about.

This is the 'After Start" Screen; It consistently is in the low to mid 20s and this shocks me. I was expecting in the teens at best

That's amazing. I have never done as well as that. Wish I could. You need to share your secret with every one.

If and when I can keep my foot out of it I get that. When I drove from Georgia cruising 70mph I was averaging 26mph but then again the SC pump was out and the car was running NA.

Actually, "after reset" is usually lower than "after start". At least in my case, if you are conscious about mpg's say in a daily commute you can achieve better numbers than when mixing city/highway/spirit driving.

I used the after reset and it still said the same, about 23.2 MPG. I guess if you keep your foot out of it, its possible

What is wrong with my car then? I almost threw a party the other day when, after babying the throttle and driving for more than 50 freeway miles, my 'puter showed 23 mpg average, for the first time ever. Mine rarely breaks 19 mpg.

Same results here. I was surprised because my BMW 540 V8 with 3.15 Diff (Changed it out from 2.81), exhaust, intake, software I would get 26 MPG on the highway and 19 or 20 around town

if you use a sprintbooster, don't expect mileage to be better than advertised.

I use to get horrible gas mileage. I drove to dallas and I never even got close to 19mpg. I was doing closer to 17mpg. I had the car in for service and they found that I had a leak in the valve covers and I had to have the valve gaskets replaced or some thing like that. After I had that done, the gas mileage with spirited driving would stay at 19mpg. If I drove it and payed attention to the gas mileage, I almost achieve 24mpg. I'm thinking that the leaky valve cover was getting me worse gas mileage. I also have new tires, so that might help as well.

I actually get better gas mileage when I drive fast, weird?

Never have used a sprintbooster. I get terrible gas mileage all by myself.

Besides, I figure a buying a sprintbooster (and getting worse gas mileage) is like paying some **** star to sit across the table from me and tell me what a great love god I am when, in fact, I'm still the same schlub I've always been. No self deception here.

I was having similar symptons so I decided to refresh the car. I did an oil change and clean the air filters. LET changed my spark plugs and flush my coolant. Sunil is replacing my fuel and trans filters next week. Also, check your tire pressure and stay under 2,500 rpm. It was raining this morning and I saw 26.5 mph on the freeway until I exited.

When my car was stock, I was averaging 18 mpg in city and 22 to 23 mpg freeway. After mods, I think it dropped to 16 mpg in city and 21 mpg freeway.
