i need to replace the tires on my 2002 c32 and wondered what suggestions anyone might have. i want to stay stock on size. any particular thoughts between the michelin pilot sport, pilot sport a/s, and bridgestone potenza s-03 pole position? thanks for any advice.

You have to ask yourself whether you want summer tires or all-season tires, Pilot Sport A/S is a all-season tire and Pilot Sport and S-03 are summer tires.

I have not used S-03, but so many people are saying so many good things about it, it should be good. Pilot Sport...I think they're a bit over-priced. You might want to consider Toyo T1-S, I am always a fan of this tire. They are very reasonable and very GOOD!

the S-03 potenzas are exellent tires. I have them on my audi S4 right now and wow do they grip. they look good and they stick to the ground like nothing else. The difference between the SO3's and the pilots however is that the pilots have a more quiet ride and they generaly seem to be softer but you'll be paying more money for them.

Talking Tires

I have S-03 Bridgestones on my E55 and they seem excellent for traction as you can see in the video ( C32 vs E55) and other races). The tread wear factor is the same as the Pilot Sports but they seem to grip better. I don't much care about noise and harshness as I need max traction. In researching for better traction I noticed that Continental makes a ContiSport tire with a 160 wear factor which may provide even better traction at the cost of quicker wear. This may be why some M5's tested so quick in various auto mag comparisons. I intend to try them one day and will post results. Check E55 forum for Pocholin"s comments on Kuhmo tires (under time slips thread). Best of luck!

The SO3's and T1-S's both are better tires than the Pilot Sports. They should last longer, be quieter, more comfortable, and cheaper.

Just curious, why are you not considering replacing them with another set of Pirelli PZero Rosso?
