BTW...I noticed this is on the C32 forum...but there are probably a lot of people with other (non C32s) that might be interested as well (I have an E500). I wonder if this could be moved to the audio and electronics forum. More potentially interested people might see it there.

I recieved that email as well. Thanks for the info regarding the mic. Does anyone know for sure if the 05 c55 has the mic in there? I'll pop that cover on the console and look. Since the car is prewired etc I would assume it's there.
The guy has called me twice, yesterday and today, but I have been busy. I'll call him back later today with more specifics. He'll have to do something good on the price however as I can add the factory parts for about the same price.

Well guys my idea of finding the factory parts cheap turned out illusive. I did however convince my friend to pick up the 2008 version and installed it in his c55 and it worked quite well with the address book sync etc. He's now jumping now jumping ship to c63 and I am debating whether or not as well.
Anyone interested in the factory BT setup with 2008 oem parts including the newer 5878 BT module? Since I'm selling it for him, I'll even install it in your car. Hit me with pm's. He wants it gone asap.
I just called the dealer and they want $2500 to add it after and that it's a $2400 option when adding to the car.
I'll sell and install it for half, $1200. Does that seem about right or too cheap/much? It's brand new, was in the car less than 1 mo., and is the latest software and of course has warranty etc.
I still also have my sirius OEM satellite that I want to get rid of as well for a deal. Anyone want the full upgrade I'll do a package deal and install
PM me any reasonable offer.

i talked to one dealer about iTronic...
their regular price is $899.99 plus shipping.
if we get 5+ buyers, they are willing to offer at $849.99 shipped.
iPod kit is extra $100.
i don't need iPod function since steve will be installing factory iPod kit on my W211 soon... but i want this BT phone kit hopefully by the time the law changes...
they said the inventory is very limited and there are 3 versions of the kit
1) Audio20
2) Audio50
3) COMAND
