Car drifts to the right above 30mph....
When driving above 30mph the car begins to drift to the right. Took it to the dealership to have an alignment done.
Dealerships Conclusion:
Alignment is good (performed it 2x to verify), problem is with unapproved tires. They said Mercedes only approves 2 types of tires for the C55. The tires are making the car drift.
Can this be? The tires are less than 3 months old. Anybody else having this problem?

I had a little accident a while back when I hit a pothole at 70mph and it riped my front rim and both tires on one side. I took it to Mercedes to get it realligned and a new rim. I happened to have two front used tires that I bought off craigslist a while back and I decided to save money and put them on. The car still drifted and made a bumping noise when I got it back, I took it to Mercedes againt to get suspension fixed (I thought that was the problem), ended up spending over $2k and when I got the car back my service adviser said it still drifted "a little" because of defected tires. Turned out it drifted the same it did before all the bs parts they charged me for. I took it to discount and got two new front tires and it was fine after that.
My suggestion to you is to go back to the store you purchased your tires from and tell them what Mercedes said.

this is always a problem on the W203- stock or not. i had mine to the dealer twice within the first 2k miles for the same problem. each time it wasn't fixed, but better than before. the last time i had it there, they installed crash bolts in the front. i have just grown to deal with it- every car has it's quirk- and a slight pull to the right is what it is on this car. if i drove the car more than about 2x a month- it might bother me more though

i have unapproved tires on my c32 and its fine. check the tire balance and make sure the treads on both tires are wore evenly. If there not wore evenly then you drove on the tires with a bad alignment. It might help if you state what kind of tires you have as well.
if you have a print out of the alignment, scan it so we can see the toe and camber setting are correct or not.

Don't have a printout of the alignment unfortunately. Tires are as follows:
BFGoodrich G-Force Sport
225/40/18 Front
255/35/18 Rear
By the way, had the Service B performed along with the alignment, total cost $680. Price comparable to other dealerships?
